Project Background：

Wafer processing workshops require high cleanliness and high process quality. The customer planned to replace manual handling with mobile cobots for wafer transfer in a cleanroom environment. By deploying a 3D vision positioning system, the customer obtains the spatial coordinates of wafer carriers on racks or carts and guides the cobot for accurate picking.

3D Vision Solution：

- A lightweight 3D camera covers small to medium fields of view and supports positioning for processing equipment, transfer racks, and mobile cobot loading positions. - The 3D vision system scans target features to obtain picking and placement coordinates, compensating for docking deviations of the mobile cobot. - The workpieces are high-value items. The high-precision structured-light 3D camera supports millimeter-level overall positioning accuracy, reducing missed picks, incorrect picks, and product damage. - To meet cleanroom requirements, the 3D camera can be flexibly customized with specific projection colors such as red light to match on-site optical requirements. - Plastic wafer carriers come in different colors and semi-transparent materials. The blue-light structured-light solution handles slight surface reflection with good compatibility. - The system is highly integrated and easy to deploy. The software is no-code and easy to use.
